Get to know me

I am a contemporary artist based in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. After a long hiatus from my practice following the loss of someone very dear to me, I returned to my passion with renewed clarity and conviction. That loss reshaped my understanding of time and purpose, teaching me that the importance of follow what matters most. As a teenager growing up in the nineties, I dreamed of becoming an artist- romanticising the idea of a New York loft studio, the kind immortalised in films. While my path looks different, the dream remains intact. Largely self taught, my practice is intuitive, honest and deeply felt. My work reflects a commitment to presence, beauty and lived experience- art made intentionally, and with raw emotion.
